Jesus,
We choose to crown you our beloved King.
As your people, we celebrate and receive the economy of the Kingdom, and we reject the economy of the empire.
We pause to remember—everything we have comes from above.
God you alone give life and breath and every good thing.
We have been bought with your priceless, precious blood.
All that we are and have now belongs to you.
We acknowledge that to spend our life pursuing worldly riches will not make us rich.
To spend all that we have on ourselves is not the way of Jesus.
Free from compulsion and guilt, we joyfully join you in the blessed life.
The life where it’s better to give than to receive.
We stand today against the delusion of riches that choke out the word and rob us of our inheritance.
We refuse today to serve the lesser master of money.
We give sacrificially today for the sake of your Kingdom, the advancement of your gospel, the building of your Church, and until there is no needy person among us.
We are determined to be trustworthy with such a little thing as money that you may trust us with true riches.
Make us generous as you are generous.
Let it be said that Elevate City so loved Jesus that we gave…

Why Tithing?
Tithing is giving the first and best of your finances. Tithing is a Biblical practice, and it’s a tangible way that we can put our trust in God. Scripture calls us to give the first 10% of our income back to God through the local church. We’ve seen God provide for our church family, and we know that your obedience to tithing will bring His abundant provision to you and your family.
“Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. and thereby put me to the test, says the lord of hosts, if i will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need.”
